
The spring travel season is approaching quickly, and according to Squaremouth, travelers seek to invest in exciting adventures this year
The US travel insurance comparison site has surveyed more than 8,000 travelers about their spring holiday plans, and the results suggest that the adventure is a priority. More than 60% of respondents listed “seeking adventure” as their main travel goal, a significant leap of only 42% in 2024.
Warm weather adventures occupy first place
This spring, sales of adventure travel insurance policies have increased by 18% compared to last year, and travelers favor the adventures of warm climate about skiing and snow -related activities. The main adventure activities secured by travelers this spring include:
- Hiking/Trekking
- Safari
- Snorkel
- Submarineism
- Horse riding.
Safaris and African trips in popularity
The last Squaremouth report highlighted a growing interest in the adventures of warm weather and the travel list trips. The data also show an average increase of 28% in reserves for popular safari destinations, including South Africa, Tanzania, Botswana and Kenya.
The market also recently revealed the most common claims and the benefits of travel insurance that saw the highest reimbursement payments last year.
