The changes are arriving at Ana Mileage Club, the All Nippon Airways loyalty program, with headquarters in Japan, as reported for the first time by the view of the wing.
The updates, which will be implemented in June, are a mixed bag. The members of the Miles Club can finally redeem miles for unidirectional flights, opening new refund options and finishing the frustration of being limited to the round trip prizes flights. On the other hand, the award rates for many international rates are uploading (again), and the beloved Round The World tickets of the program are coming to an end.
Here are all the details.
Book Ana Awards for single Mile Club Sense
After years of allowing only round trip reimbursements, Ana Milometre Club has announced plans to offer unidirectional awards flights from June 24. Unidirectional refunds cannot be searched until that date, but Ana has already published lists of unidirectional awards, and the rates are half of what you will pay for a round trip.
Ana divides her prize tables into three ranges dated: Low season (L), regular season (R) and high season (H). You can find specific date ranges for each season on the Ana website.
For example, an economic flight (rates class and) from North America to Japan will range between 20,000 miles on seasonal season to 36,000 miles on high season dates. Executive class rates (c) will range between 50,000 and 82,500 miles in each direction.
Meanwhile, unidirectional flights from North America to Oceania will cost 30,000 to 49,000 miles in economics and 68,500 to 108,000 miles in business.
These are reasonable rates, and the fact that Ana Mileage Club still uses a awards table (when many other airlines have gone to the dark side with the prices of dynamic awards) is an advantage. Instead of having to compare dates and prize fees, you will know from the first moment of how many miles you will need.
However, there are some things to take into account. On the one hand, the availability of Ana awards can be scarce: we could not find premium economy seats on some round trip flights up to a year. For another, transferring points of American express membership rewards is not instantaneous and can take up to 48 hours, according to our tests. Therefore, a prize seat could be collected while waiting for their points to be transferred.

Ana also charges strong rates, especially in certain partner tickets. This New York round -trip flight to Geneva, operated by Swiss and Singapore Airlines, charges approximately $ 400 in rates.
For a commercial class prize seat operated by Swiss, you will pay more than $ 2,000 in surcharges.
You can expect to pay approximately half of these numbers for unidirectional awards flights when available on June 24. However, these rates can vary widely depending on the airline of the partners, so pay close attention when searching for flights.
In general, new Oona Way awards flights will open new reimbursement possibilities for mileage club members. For example, if he found a lot at his destination in Ana, but a better rate on another Star Alliance partner for the section back of his trip, he could mix, combine and save miles.

Ana Milageage Club Devaluation Award
Unidirectional awards flights are a blessing for mileage club members, but they are the only good news in the last round of program changes. In June, Ana plans to devalue her awards lists, again.
For Ana awards list for flights between North America and Japan, prices are scheduled to increase all rates classes in the high season.
This occurs immediately after last year’s devaluation, in which business class rates (C) between the United States and Japan saw that prices increased from 22% to 33% in all stations.
That time, high -season executive class rates rose from 90,000 miles to 110,000 miles back and forth. They are now increasing to 165,000 miles round trip, starting June 24. That is a total jump of 83% in a year and a half.
Even so, 165,000 round trip miles for a long -distance executive class flight is not bad, especially compared to dynamic price prices such as Delta Skymiles, which is known to charge more than 300,000 miles in each direction.
On the other hand, it could save rewards by reserving a first -class first class reward flight through Virgin Atlantic for 170,000 points of flying clubs from the east coast to Japan. Keep in mind that you should call to book Ana flights through Virgin Atlantic after confirming the availability of awards.
In addition, it can be easier to redeem transferable rewards through Flying Club, since the loyalty program is a transfer partner of Amex, Bilt, Citi, Chase and Wells Fargo. Although Flying Club is not a direct transfer partner of Capital One, Virgin Red is, and can link the accounts of his program to redeem rewards through any program.

For the reimbursements of the Ana mileage club between North America and Oceania, most price increases will also be on high season flights. It can still fly under economics for just 60,000 round trip miles in the low season, but will pay about 100,000 miles on maximum dates, and the executive class will place it again to 216,000 miles.
Again, these rates are not terrible compared to competition. You can still get some fantastic offers by redeeming Miles from Ana on less desirable dates, but flying during peak times is about to be more expensive.
If you have your eye in the redemption of a mileage club, consider the reservation before June 24, when awarding rates increase.
Ana Mileage Club that ends world prize flights
Ana’s Alliance Round The World Star Award ticket has long been the highlight of the mileage club program. You could travel the world at Star Alliance Airlines, with up to 12 flights and eight stops, all in Ana Miles (more taxes and rates, of course).
Unfortunately, as of June 24, Ana will not broadcast more tickets around the world. According to an Ana publication, “Star Alliance Round the World entries issued until June 23, 2025 can be used as usual until the expiration date of your ticket, including similar changes or factors.”
So, if you have your heart to redeem miles of miles of mileage for one of these valuable tickets, it has until June 23 to reserve it.

End
Ana’s Mileage Club members will be sad to see another devaluation and the loss of the program of The World of the program. However, award rates are still reasonable, and the program still uses an awards table, which is something strange these days. In addition, the addition of unidirectional refunds should make it easier to make the most of its miles.
If you need more ana miles, you can transfer Amyx membership rewards points to the program in a 1: 1 relationship.
