The president’s office paid the chartered flight that transported former President Rodrigo Duterte to the Netherlands, according to Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla.
Remulla confirmed that the private Gulfstream G550, registered as RP-C5219, was organized and paid by Malacañang.
“The plane was rented by the president’s office.
There were speculation about the luxury jet source, but no individual or private corporations have owned the aircraft for Duterte’s trip.
The representative of the Ako Bicol party list, Zaldy CO and San Miguel Corporation, have denied the property of the Gulfstream G550.
