Spring Break in New Jersey is a good time to explore destinations near home, have fun with the family and welcome the warmest climate.
Most New Jersey schools are on spring vacation at the end of April this year, when the climate in the northeast can be unpredictable: it is too cold for outdoor swimming, but too warm to stay locked up throughout the week. So watch everyone in layers and plan a mixture of interior and exterior fun.
We have gathered the best options for fun family destinations in the state of Garden and its surroundings, from cities in New Jersey Beach and covered aquatic parks to Pocono Resorts and Hudson Valley Wayway.
If you are looking for a shorter excursion less the stay during the night, see our family day travel guide in New Jersey and our Jersey coast guide.
