Gavin Lapidus, director of the company in ESHORES, shared his ideas with the mirror, warning only of the last minute agreements for economic escapes.

He advised: “Always reserve as much anticipation. While there are good last minute offers on flights and vacations, it depends a lot on how many seats are on a flight.”

He added: “There may not be any, or the demand can be high, so prices can clarify the travel date and can end up paying more. However, he observed that there are certain occasions when last minute reserves can be beneficial.

Gavin suggests that, as a general rule, short -distance flights within Europe must be reserved two or three months in advance to ensure the best prices. For long distance flights to destinations such as America or Asia, it is recommended to reserve four or six months before.

If you plan to travel during peak periods as Christmas or summer holidays, it is advisable to reserve six to 12 months in advance, since prices tend to increase closer to the departure date. However, if you travel out of peak, you can still find good offers a few weeks before departure, but it is generally safer to reserve at least a month earlier.

Gavin added: “While airlines use dynamic prices, studies suggest that mid -week reserves, on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, they often produce lower rates, since airlines release agreements after the weekend fever “
