The Lazada electronic commerce platform and the PEAK3 technology provider have formed a JV to establish a new digital insurance ecosystem and integrated in Southeast Asia.

The JV will integrate the various Lada Insurance proposals in its ecosystem, where its customers can obtain insurance coverage through the application and the Lada website, while merchants benefit from personalized protections to safeguard their business.

The new ecosystem will collaborate with the main local and global insurers such as AIA, Astra, Income income, MSIG and SOMPO. Peak3 and Lada will deliver a diverse portfolio of insurance proposals in properties and victims, accidents and health and life insurance. Initially, the approach will focus on developing integrated insurance, including the protection of devices and electronic, and the protection of product responsibility to safeguard customers and their bought goods. In addition, market insurance options, such as car insurance, accidents and trips, provide essential coverage for customer activities.
