Microsoft has begun performance -based employment cuts, according to the termination cards seen by Business Insider.

Employees who lose their work will see that medical care benefits end immediately, according to letters. In three specific cases, Microsoft told employees that they had no compensation, they said familiar people with the situation. These people asked not to be identified discussing delicate issues.

The letters do not mention compensation, but say the medical, prescription and dental benefits that end the last day of employment. The letters also say that Microsoft will consider past performance and termination if the person requests other works in the company in the future.

As BI reported earlier this month, Microsoft is adopting a strong higher. A company spokesman declined to comment on Thursday.

A Microsoft spokesman previously confirmed the employment cuts, saying that when people leave for reasons of performance, Microsoft often fills the roles, so there could be few changes in the general count of the company’s head.
